How the Goal Relates to Our Work

Our office specializes in supporting administrative procedures for foreign nationals, such as status-of-residence applications, permanent-residence applications and naturalization applications. By carefully supporting proper, law-based procedures—including direct support in English—we help create an environment where foreign nationals can live and work in Japan with peace of mind. This directly contributes to realizing SDG Goal 10, Target 10.7: "orderly, safe, regular and responsible migration and mobility of people."

Our Concrete Actions

Our office specializes in administrative procedures for foreign nationals—status of residence, permanent residence, naturalization and more. We carry out proper, law-based procedures, including direct support in English, contributing to an environment where foreign nationals can live and work with peace of mind.

• Provide 100+ consultations and application-support cases per year for foreign nationals' status-of-residence and licensing procedures.
• In principle for every case, carefully explain the required documents and procedure flow before applying, supporting proper residence and employment.
• For clients who find communication in Japanese difficult, respond via direct support in English or multilingual chat, so no one is left behind in procedures because of language.
• Share the latest immigration and residence-system information via our blog and other channels at least once a month, so foreign nationals can apply with an understanding of the system.
• Establish the above framework by the end of March 2027 and continue and expand it thereafter.
